Buckle comfortable for women – Story behind the quick-release buckle QRC1520
“What is the comfortable backpack like for women?” “We want to develop the buckles which make women more comfortable” These are voices at the development meeting which triggered the development of the quick-release buckle for backpack.
The buckle at the center of chest may cause discomfort when carrying backpack for a long time. So we moved the buckle to the shoulder strap, and there is only the belt without buckle on the chest.
In addition, we developed pull-release mechanism and created thin buckle which enabled to buckle and unbuckle with gloved fingers in outdoor activity.
While developing the product, the developer climbed Mt. Fuji carrying own backpack with the prototype buckle to test its position and comfort. We want you to feel “refreshing feeling” when using it.
